Germination: Surface sow seeds no deeper than ¼ of an inch in rich moist soil after last frost has passed. Prefers full sun, warm temperatures and nutrient rich soil. Warm temperatures aid germination. May also be started indoors 4-8 weeks before last frost. Thin/space plants about 12” apart. May be pinched/cut back once it is 24” tall to promote new shoots and leaves for continual harvest or left to grow tall before harvesting the entire plant.
