This is a brand new Speedo men’s bikini that has been modified into a thong bikini.
This Speedo started out as a mens bikini brief.
Front liner has been removed so it is fully unlined. The front and rear seam have been sewn flat with a two thread coverstitch.
The front drawstring was removed and about 2” of the rear crotch was removed to make this the ultimate low rise thong.
The mannequin in the photos is a 32” waist.
This is a one of a kind custom modified swimsuit and you definitely won’t find another one like it.
The stitching is a 2 thread coverstitch with 2 threads on the outside and chain stitching on the inside so it definitely will stand up to repeated use at the pool or beach.
A lot of time and effort goes into making these as the stitching and elastic have to be removed, the suit has to be recut, new elastic has to be added and the suit has to then be re-stitched.
I use the same rubber elastic as the manufacturer as this type of elastic lasts longer and holds up to chlorine, salt and UV better than braided elastic.
