This kit is designed to replace the two original multi-section can capacitors used in the power supply section of the McIntosh C26 preamplifiers. Two custom capacitor boards are included along with four Nichicon 220uF / 200V capacitors, all necessary mounting hardware, and a printed installation guide.
The capacitor boards follow the same form and function as the original cans in order to simplify installation and future capacitor replacement. Installation will involve assembling the new capacitor boards, drilling out the original mounting rivets, mounting the new boards in place with the included hardware, and wiring them up via the wiring turrets.
