Small terracotta figural head mounted within a striking modern black open-frame display.The head is stylistically consistent with Majapahit terracotta sculpture associated with East Java, Indonesia, particularly the small molded figural heads found in the Trowulan tradition. Comparable Majapahit heads are known with similarly downcast/incised eyes, forehead ornaments or headbands, prominent ear ornaments, rounded facial modeling and short tapered necks originally intended for attachment to larger figures.The head measures approximately 2–2¼ inches tall, with the complete framed display measuring approximately 8 inches square.
