This art piece is 18 inches in Length, 33 inches in Height and 1 inch thick. Framed with black maple wood. Main stain is Golden Oak.This is a solid piece of wood. The carving is deep to show all the details.
Hanging hardware will already be installed before shipping. So, that the art piece is ready to be hanged once delivered.
The creation cycle - after the wood is carved, I then clean out any wood threads and burs. I hand sand all the carved areas with 250 sandpaper to make sure the inside is smooth to the touch. The next process is spray paint the carved areas to get a deep rich black color that pops. After all that I add the black wooden frames and then the final process is to add the Lacquer. I spray a coat of semi flat lacquer on the art piece, so that it has a small shine finished look. This will also protect the art piece from oils and smudges.
