This item is for eight (8) STANDARD bore Moresa flat top pistons with FLOATING pins for 2005-2009 GM applications using either the 4.8L or 5.3L LS-series V-8 engine requiring flat top pistons with floating pins. P/N (8) DAC1089-STD.
This piston set has floating pins and cannot be used with the earlier model press-fit connecting rods, due to different pin diameters. Before ordering, confirm that you need flat top pistons with floating pins. Use the specifications below for reference.
