Melissa Manchester's sixth album Singin', released September 1977 and produced by Vini Poncia. The singer-songwriter tackles a mix of originals and well-chosen covers — including James Taylor's "You Make It Easy" and Brian Wilson's "The Warmth Of The Sun" — backed by a crack session crew: Steve Gadd on drums, Will Lee and Tony Levin on bass, Jeff Mironov and David Spinozza on guitar, and James Newton Howard on synths and string arrangements. Smooth adult-contemporary soft rock from one of Arista's signature voices of the '70s.
