Wax is clean overall. There are some superficial scuff marks that is typical with the 45s on the outer dead matrix from going in and out of a paper sleeve, but there is virtually just the ever so slightest most superficial wisps on the record. The 45 is very glossy. This one is slightly nicer than the previous one.

=VG

Playback is really nice. There is some crackle in the beginning on dead matrix d/t some minor scuffing but as the sides progress, it is very faint crackle. No recurring tics or audible anomalies to mention. A GREAT play copy.

All records are either VPI cleaned or Spin-Cleaned to showcase the record and is gradedcarefully by ear and under proper lightingafter cleaning.Our grading scale may be “broad”, but the most detailed descriptionsof a recordand cover’s conditionare complimented well with the classic gradeson a plus/minusscales like Goldmine,but we also use descriptivewords like “Strong”or “Weak” i.e. Strong EX, Weak EX, Strong VG or Weak VG for example.Wax Grade Scale
Sealed:Sealed in shrinkwrap or baggy.Often can be presumed mint, but truthfullythe record conditionis unknown and is sold as is. Always purchasewith confidence.

NM (Near Mint): Appearsunplayed. No marks,scratches or imperfections. We rarely use this.

NM- (Near Mint Minus): Appearsunplayed. Perhaps ever-soslightly the smallestindividual tiny wisp, paper mark or spindlemark. Not used often.

EX+ (Excellent Plus): Littleevidence of play. No more than just a couplemarks that are barely noticeableunder-light. No playbackinterference. Only a spindle mark or two noticeable.

EX (Excellent): Littleevidence of play. Just a few marks that are superficial. No playback interference.Only a spindlemark or two.

EX- (Excellent Minus): Littleevidence of play. Just a few marks that are superficial. No playback interference.Slightly more spindlemarks.

VG++ (Very Good Plus Plus): Super nice shape.No more than a handfulof scattered paper marks/wisps/smudges throughout.No playback interference.Some minor spindlemarks or wear/potential label marks or wear.

VG+ (Very Good Plus): Clean overall. Scatteredmarks throughout, not abundant at all. Likelyno playback noise,will be noted if so. Only minor/inconsistent limitedto just a couple of marks if any playbacknoise. Some spindlemarks and potentiallabel wear, but still minimal.

STRONG VG (StrongVery Good): More imperfections than a VG+. No more than a few spots where noise may be heard with scattered superficialmarks. Some spindlemarks and potentiallabel wear, but still minimal.

VG (Very Good): More imperfections than a STRONGVG. A handfulof spots where noise may be heard with superficialmarks. Spindle mark wear/potentially more label wear.

Weak VG (Weak Very Good): More imperfections/marks than just VG. Superficial marks throughout, potentiallyone to two feelable marks that cause only minimalplayback interference, i.e. gentle pops/ticks.

VG- (Very Good Minus):Visible imperfections/marks/scuffs and potentially severalfeelable marks. Expectaudible surface noise to be present with the feelables,otherwise playing decentthroughout the superficials.

G+ (Good Plus): Numerousmarks/scuffs/imperfections throughout. Handfulof feelable marks.More significant spindleand label wear. Playback interferencei.e. distortion, crackling,pops, ticks with some of the superficialmarks/feelables.

G (Good): Abundantmarks/scuffs/imperfections. Potentially scatteredfeelables all causingplayback interference, i.e. repetitive pops, ticks, crackle.Superficial marks causingcrackling throughout recordentirety. Moderate spindleand label wear.

G- (GoodMinus): Many marks, feelablesscattered throughout all causing playbackinterference, i.e. pops, ticks, crackle,distortion throughout recordentirety. Heavy label wear/spindle wear.Cover Grade Scale

M (Mint): Rarely will be used. Still sealed.4 SHARP corners.No creases, splits,marks or handlingwear.

NM (Near Mint): A nearly perfectcover. Likely still sealed, or open in shrink with almost no evidence of wear. Mostlysharp corners and no creases/surface marks/splits.

EX (Excellent): A beautiful cover with minor signs of handling. Ever-soslightly the smallestamount of creasing,surface marks, cornerrubbing. No splits.

VG++ (Very Good Plus Plus): A bit more visible wear than an EX-cover such as more noticeable small creasing, cornerrubbing, surface marks.VERY minor chippingor seam wear. Potential bubblingin laminate. Price stickers. No splits.

VG+ (Very Good Plus):The most commongrade for our album covers,showing light handlingwear, potential very minor ring wear, or small cornerdings/corner rubbing. Mild aging or discoloration. Light seam wear and chipping.Laminate bubbling, tearing.Minor stains Potentialpen writing. If any splits,only 1 or 2, less than an inch in length. Spine clear and readable.

VG (Very Good): Cover shows more obvious signs of handling,such as light/moderate ring wear, numerouscreases, chunks of missing laminate,moderate chipping, seam wear. Mild/Moderateaging or discoloration. Potentialpen writing. Minor stains. Light seam splittingon the edges,no longer than 2-3 inches.Spine mostly readable.

VG- (Very Good Minus): Similarto VG but with more extensive wear, including largerseam splits, nothingfull length acrossseam. Pen writing.Laminate peeling throughout.Moderate staining. Moderatering wear. Moderatediscoloration. Possible moisturebowing/tearing. More significantcreases, or moderate/heavy spine wear. Album artwork may have small paper loss/tears.

G+ (Good Plus): Numeroussurface marks, lots of pen writing, heavy creasing, heavy seam wear rubbing. Moderate/heavy ring wear. Moisturedamage affecting a large part of cover.Multiple places of album cover art tears/paperloss. Splits may be acrossfull length of seam, usuallyjust one side. Heavy discolorationor aging. Splittingoccurring on spine,barely visible or unreadable title/catalog.

G (Good): Significantlyworn cover with distinguishable damagelike major tears on album cover art, scuffing, or writing throughout.Splitting almost completelyon spine, top seam or bottom seam. Heavy ring wear. Moisturedamage affecting potentiallywhole cover/one completeside. Heavy tears/paperloss.

G- (Good Minus): Damagedcover that may be completelysplit on multiplesides, AKA, the book or taco cover.Significant scuffing, stickers,stains, pen ink. Heavy ring wear. Extremefading, aging, discoloration.

P (Poor):Split all the way around.AKA, the sandwichcover. Moisture damagehaving ruined most of entirecover, if not entire cover.Major paper loss/completedisfiguration of cover that may cause cover to be barely recognizable.Staining that coversmajority of record.
