THIS IS A MANUAL ONLY FLASH. You can put it on your camera\'s hot shoe but it still works as manual. You can mount it on a stand (shoe or side mount).....fire it into a modifier or just bounce it. It can fire as a slave. My units are loaded with software to respond to proprietary triggers from Sony, Canon or Nikon. They will also fire when properly connected to pocket wizard systems. If you\'re a strobist, you know all this and more about these units. One unit\'s-catch light card and diffuser are wedged in compartment and don\'t work. Honestly, I\'ve never used these or seen them used with that feature. They work best on a stand with modifiers or bounced. They come with cases. If you are into off camera flash or want to be these are great way to get started. Read about them on stripist sites and the internet.
