Beautiful 3D shadowbox-style painting by Puerto Rican artist Luis Germán Cajiga, signed “Cajiga 94” and dated 1994.
The artwork depicts a colorful rural Puerto Rican landscape, featuring a traditional wooden country house, a large red Flamboyant tree, mountainous scenery, livestock, fencing, and a rural figure.
The dimensional, textured treatment gives the scene an almost sculptural appearance, bringing the house, vegetation, tree, and figures forward from the landscape.
