This is the new and improved auto-traverse for a pickup winder! It has three knobs, the left knob sets the two travel points and you push down on the set lever to set each end point. The right knob sets the speed, and the middle knob is an anti-ramp knob that speeds up the rack at the ends of travel. The gear is adjustable up and down to change the position of the gear rack and to set the position of the gear on the rack. There is an L bracket that slides out that you can tape to a winder to get more stability. Feed the wire through the wire hole and then through the felt pads (and tighten to preference) and then feed the wire through the nozzle on the rack to the bobbin. The Wire Guide can be moved left and right by adjusting the screws and sliding it on the track.
