The artwork is in excellent condition with vivid, clean color and no visible tears, stains, foxing or fading on the painted image. It is a hand-painted original watercolor. The double mat around it shows its age: light toning, surface soiling and edge wear on the cream mat, plus a small nick and label residue at the upper right corner. On the reverse the sheet is held to the mat backing with blue painter\'s tape. The piece has not been removed from the mat, so the full sheet edges and any writing hidden under the mat window have not been inspected.
