Here is an original Lionel 623 Santa Fe Diesel Switcher in excellent running condition. This one is a workhorse and ready to be a daily runner. There are no cracks or breaks in the shell, but it does have wear with paint scuffs and fading on the 623. It operates perfectly in both forward and reverse (e-unit was replaced) and pulls hard. One of the philips screws was replaced with a standard screw on the deck as well (see pics)
