25 Lemon Drop / Aji Limon Pepper Seeds, these are open-pollinated and grown without herbicides and pesticides.
This variety is a native of Peru/South America. Lemon drop peppers are 2 to 2.5 inches long, bright yellow colored, thin-walled. Plants grow about two feet tall and bush out laterally. Plants can easily produce 100+ peppers in late summer. Once peppers start ripening in Aug/Sept/Oct, there are 3-4 peppers ripening every day. Perfect for salsas, Chili or anything spicy.
**100 days to harvest, so start them early**. Heat level is around 30,000-50,000 SHU, slightly hotter than a jalapeno. Let pepper ripen a few days after picking to get full flavor. Plant in full to part-sun area, at least 8 hours of sunlight per day.
Germination Tested: 9-2026 in 10-20 days at 75 degrees F
Tips:
- store seeds in a cool, dry place, like a sealed container in your refrigerator, seeds can stay viable for several years when properly stored
- Start seeds 6-8 weeks before last frost indoors, plant outside once soil warms and nighttime temperatures stay above 50 degrees F.
