Vintage fine porcelain teapot beautifully hand-painted in the classic British "Painted Fruits" tradition. This exquisite piece features a lush, vibrant still-life arrangement of apples and orchard fruit, heavily accented with rich, gleaming gold gilt detailing on the spout, handle, base, and matching lid.

About the Artist:
This piece is hand-signed "Leighton" on the lower body by the highly collectible British ceramic artist Leighton Maybury (1929–2013). Maybury famously trained as an apprentice fruit painter at the prestigious Royal Worcester Porcelain Company during the 1940s. He later transitioned into a highly successful freelance career, purchasing premium white porcelain blanks to decorate independently. This teapot represents his freelance period and features his personal hand-painted decorator mark "M" on the underside of the base.
