LaserSoft Imaging Standard 35mm Kodak Transparency IT8 Color Calibration Target
A “Target” is a type of measuring table that calculates the exact color recognition capability of a scanner and identifies the singularities of said scanner. LaserSoft Imaging produces its own IT8 target, ensuring the highest precision in target production. All around the world, companies trust the unflinching quality of LaserSoft Imaging targets. Our Standard IT8 targets are for creating individual ICC profiles of scanners for professional color management. This target is a 35mm Kodak Transparency IT8 Color Calibration Target using 288 color patches. This target can be used to calibrate film scanners and flatbed scanners with transparency lids.
Our IT8 targets are equipped with a barcode that enables automatic scanner calibration using SilverFast software only: Simply insert the IT8 Target, start the calibration assistant and the appropriate reference data is automatically downloaded and calculated with the calibration measurement data to create the individual scanner profile. It is only this easy with SilverFast. For other calibration software, the IT8 Reference file can be found on our company website.
This IT8 target can only be used with our SilverFast Ai Studio software and some third party software (please check with the software company prior to purchasing). This IT8 target was produced in 2008 as shown in the picture. The video used our SilverFast Ai Studio 8 software to run the calibration. The resulting Delta-E reading of 0.9 means that the target is still in excellent condition for calibrating your scanner.
