Use instructions

Before applying, roughen and clean the area to be repaired. Then

follow these easy steps:

1. Twist off or cut across the Blue and Yellow tape, removing an

appropriate length or your job. Any equal length of tape contains the

correct mixing proportion of the base to the curing agent. If using as a

sculpting compound, it is recommended that you mix only the amount

needed for 1 hour of sculpting. Kneadatite Blue/Yellow will adhere to

itself; so more putty can be mixed and applied later.

2. 3. Mix by twisting and kneading to a uniform green color.

Apply to the surface within 1 hour of mixing. Force into cracks or holes.

Mold to desired shape, and strike off excess material before

hardening begins, preferably with a tool moistened with water. When

applying to a damp or wet area, work the material forcefully into the

surface and apply pressure until adhesion begins to take effect

For best results: For easier mixing and to smooth application, moisten

fingers with clean water. Remove excess material before hardening begins.

Curing: Kneadatite Blue/Yellow has a 1.5- to 2-hour work life. Functional

cure occurs after 4 to 5 hours, when the application can be sawed, drilled,

carved, sanded, and painted. To speed hardening, application may be

placed under a warm lamp (95°F/35°C max.); warming in an oven is not

recommended.

Note to sculptors: Kneadatite Blue/Yellow can be mixed at different rations

to achieve various sculpting properties (faster/harder cure vs slower/softer

cure). More details can be found on the Sculptor’s Information Sheet on our

website.
