Original oil on canvas by American Western artist Kenneth Miles Freeman (1935–2008), titled \"The Moccasin Maker.\" The painting depicts a Native American elder associated with the Taos / Southwestern tradition, shown working on traditional moccasin craftsmanship.

The artwork is hand-signed and above is inscribed \"TAOS\" by the artist on the lower right of the front. The title and artist\'s name are also written on the reverse stretcher bar with the title of\"The Moccasin Maker\".
