Vintage 2000s / Y2K Kay Unger New York evening cocktail dress, size 6
Perfect for fancy parties, as a fall or winter wedding guest dress, or for feeling glamorous at any other type of formal event!
This fun dress features a mulberry or deep purple shiny velvet pattern of flower petal like shapes against a shiny see through black fabric underneath which is a maroon slip. This makes the fabric appear almost more brown than black and have a slightly red or pinkish shine to it as pictured. The velvet also appears to be shinier and lighter colored in direct sunlight or camera flash. The bottom of the dress features a matching maroon ribbon tied in a bow to one side, from this falls an asymmetrical hem of fringe in a slightly lighter shade of more metallic red which also appears to shine and be almost pinkish or raspberry colored in some lighting.
The top of the dress has a scooped cowl neck and two spaghetti straps on which continue the velvet pattern. The midsection of the dress has a ruched detail which creates a defined waistline. The back of the dress has a hidden maroon zipper. The inside of the dress is lined in maroon rayon fabric.
The original dress tag reads: \"Made in Korea. RN 92432 . Body 80% Rayon, 18% Silk. Combo 100% Silk. Dry Clean Only. S#121348\"
Dress is used but in good condition, no rips, or loose threads and zipper slides easily. Small stain visible at hem of dress as pictured but no other visible imperfections. From smoke free, pet free home.
