Description
Original first pressing of Katatonia – Jhva Elohim Meth... The Revival released by VIC Records (Catalog VIC-1, STEMRA). This is the original Dutch first press, one of the earliest official Katatonia releases and a highly collectible title from the band\'s formative years.
This CD has been part of my personal collection since I purchased it upon its 1993 CD release. The album was originally issued on cassette in 1992, followed by this first CD pressing in 1993.
Condition (Goldmine Standard)
- Disc: VG+ – A few light surface marks from normal use. No deep scratches or cracks.
- Booklet: VG – Complete and fully intact. Front and rear artwork display well. Interior blank pages have foxing/moisture spotting from age/storage (see photos).
- Rear Inlay: EX/NM- – Clean with no writing, tears, or cut-outs.
- Original Jewel Case: VG – Light shelf wear consistent with age.
Overall: VG+
Complete with the original disc, booklet, rear inlay, and original jewel case. No reproductions or replacement artwork.
My Grading Standards
I grade conservatively using the Goldmine Standard:
- M (Mint): Perfect, with no flaws.
- NM (Near Mint): Almost perfect, showing virtually no signs of use.
- EX (Excellent): Minor signs of careful handling only.
- VG+ (Very Good Plus): Light wear or a few superficial marks that do not affect playback.
- VG (Very Good): Noticeable cosmetic wear from normal use, but fully functional.
- G (Good): Significant wear, but complete and playable.
