This premium N scale model recreates “36 Plus 3,” JR Kyushu’s luxurious sightseeing train designed to carry passengers on an unforgettable journey through all seven prefectures of Kyushu.
The prototype entered service in October 2020 after a complete transformation of a 787 Series train. Its dramatic glossy black exterior, elegant gold decoration and refined interior create a distinctive appearance unlike any other Japanese passenger train.
This complete six-car set represents the BM-363 formation. Every car features a different interior arrangement, including private compartments, three-abreast Green Car seating, a buffet, a multi-purpose car and beautifully detailed wood-inspired passenger spaces.
The model includes separate shoji-screen window parts that can be displayed in closed or partially open positions.
Table lamps in Cars 1 through 3 illuminate with warm white LEDs, while the merchandise and refrigerator display in the buffet section of Car 3 also lights up.
The leading cars feature functional headlights and taillights. Fine gold logos, detailed exterior markings, roof equipment and interior furnishings make this a highly collectible luxury train model.
