This highly detailed N scale model recreates the JR East 255 Series limited express train, widely known as the Boso View Express.
The prototype was introduced in 1993 for limited express services connecting Tokyo with destinations on Chiba Prefecture's Boso Peninsula. Its bold non-gangway front design and striking white, blue and yellow color scheme were inspired by the sea and fields of yellow flowers associated with the region.
This model represents the Be03 formation and includes the complete 9-car train. The powered car features KATO's smooth and quiet slotless motor, while the leading cars are equipped with functional headlights and taillights.
