Up for sale is Jughead #174 (November 1969) from Archie Comics This copy boasts incredible eye appeal with high original gloss and vibrant cover art, but shows some accumulated creasing consistent with a solid mid-grade Silve Age book. Detailed Condition Report Front Cover: & Spine: - Cover art is bright and vibrant with very good original gloss.
- Cover is completely tight on comic.
- Spine: No spine roll, no splits, and no tears. Minor spine wear present including a few light stress ticks.
- Defects: 3\" crease running upwards from the bottom edge, a 1\" crease on the upper outside, a 1/2\' crease on the outer margin, A 1/2\" crease on the upper edge, a 1/4\" top corner crease, and a small 1/8\" chip on the lower corner.
Back Cover: - Clean and flat with a 1\" crease on the outside lower edge
Interior - 100% complete with no cutouts, no writing and no coupons filled-in.
- Centerfold is tight on the staples.
- Story art is beautiful, vibrant, and sharp.
- Pages are supple and off-white to light tan in color. Note: Includes a tiny printer spur hole in the bottom margins of a few pages - this is a manufacturing artifact of the era, not a flaw from handling.
