Description:
Up for sale is an authentic Japanese antique sword guard (Tsuba) crafted during the late Edo to Meiji period.
It features a high-relief carving of a Tiger with Gold Inlay on the left and a Daoist Immortal/Sage with Silver Inlay on the right. The dark copper base metal is finished in classic blackish-brown patina (Shakudo / Copper alloy finish).
