JVC KD-A5 Vintage Stereo Cassette Deck – New Belts – Tested & Working. In very good overall condition.
I recently replaced both drive belts with new belts, and the deck has been tested following the belt replacement. I am also including an additional new set of the two replacement belts for future use.
Tested and working functions include:
• Play
• Fast Forward
• Rewind
• Stop
• Audio playback
• Both left and right level meters respond properly during playback
The cassette transport operates properly and the deck plays as it should.
Please note one minor issue with the cassette door: When the eject/open button is pressed, the door needs a slight push with a finger from the left side toward the center to help it release. It then opens slowly. This has not prevented normal use of the cassette deck. I have chosen not to attempt to adjust or realign the door mechanism since the deck is otherwise operating properly.
Cosmetically, the unit is in very good condition for its age. Please review the photographs carefully for its exact cosmetic condition.
