Jared Harris was born in London in 1961, the son of actor Richard Harris (Dumbledore in the first 2 Harry Potter films). Jared started out doing Shakespeare on stage then small parts in films (Far and Away, Natural Born Killers, Lost in Space). Larger roles followed (Benjamin Button, Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, Morbius), but Jared’s biggest success has been on television (Mad Men, The Expanse, The Crown, Chernobyl, Carnival Row).
