This aircraft was the first McDonnell Douglas DC-10 in its prototype/delivery colors (Registration: N10DC).
Affectionally named \"Ship One\" the history-making prototype of the Mc McDonnell Douglas DC-10-10 commercial airliner. It rolled out of the factory and completed its very first flight on August 29, 1970, serving as the primary testbed vehicle for the wide-body tri-jet program throughout the early 1970s.
The model by Inflight200 features rotating fan blades inside the engines, sturdy fixed undercarriage, rolling threaded rubber tires, a display stand and a nice collector\'s coin.
