Zirconium Titanium is our effect-first cold spark powder, chosen when the look of the effect is the focus — stage reveals, concerts and open-air shows. It is made for hopper-fed Open System cold spark machines. Each bag holds 100 g, so you can open a fresh bag for each set.

Powder refill only. A cold spark machine is required and is not included.

  Before you use it

  • Keep your distances. Follow the clearances in your machine manual and those the venue requires.
  • Plan by total weight. At the same machine settings, a 100 g bag fires for a shorter time than a 200 g bag.
  • Storage. Store in a cool, dry place. Once opened, use the whole bag or reseal it in an airtight container straight away.

  Will it work with my cold spark machine?
  It is made for hopper-fed Open System cold spark machines. The powder needs no RFID scan or time card, so it is not tied to one brand. Your machine may still have its own activation or time-card requirements — check its manual. Message us your machine make and model if you want it confirmed.

  Indoor or Outdoor?
  Choose by the height range your setup needs: Indoor 1–3.5 m (approx. 3.3–11.5 ft), Outdoor 1–6 m (approx. 3.3–19.7 ft). Actual height depends on your machine and its settings. Both versions are available as separate listings.

  How long does one 100 g bag last?
  It depends on the machine, its power setting and how long each cue runs, so a single number would mislead you. At the same machine settings, a 100 g bag fires for a shorter time than a 200 g bag. Test your setup and plan by total weight.

  How many bags should I order?
  Count your cues rather than your events, use your own past consumption, and allow powder for testing before the event. Keep one unopened spare bag.

  Will it set off the venue smoke detector?
  No one can promise that for a room they have not tested — detector type, sensitivity, placement and ceiling height all affect it. The powder is formulated to be smokeless. Test the planned setup in the room with venue staff present.

  Do I need a permit or other paperwork?
  Requirements differ by state, city, venue and event type. Check with your venue and local fire authority. We can supply the SDS / MSDS these reviews usually ask for.

  Can I get the SDS / MSDS before I order?
  Yes. Message us through and we will send it.

  What if a bag has clumped or the feed stalls?
  Set that bag aside, use an unopened one, and message us with the batch number and what you saw. Returns are handled under the return policy shown in this listing.
