This is a huge lot! There are:
-Military bounty land warrants, one signed by President Fillmore-Civil War era US Internal Revenue tax stamps
-Handwritten letters, a couple of them pretty juicy-Lots of indentures and land patents-Many lists of births, marriages and deaths-Official documents like marriage certificates-And LOTS more!
Some are very fragile and some are waxy and thick. Everything in between. Most of this paper is very old, as old as the 1860\'s, and it\'s brittle and must be handled with great care. Please examine all of the photos. I took a lot of time and care unfolding and refolding each piece for photo, and none of them are worse for wear but I wanted to caution you that this is OLD paper, some of it 120+ years old, and the condition reflects the age.
