The Thomas N. Fairbanks Company, importer for the United States Envelope Company, had these woodblock prints produced in Japan as samples.

SHINOHARA: Better known as Ômi Province: Lake Biwa, Ishiyama Temple from the series Famous Places in the Sixty-odd Provinces.
KAWARA: Better known as Morning after a Snowfall, the Sumida River, Musashi Province from the series Views of Famous Places in the Sixty-Odd Provinces.
Maruko: Better known as Monkey Bridge in Autumn in Kai Province.
OGAWA: Better known as The Fuji Marsh and Ukishima Plain Near Yoshiwara from the series Pictures of Famous Places on the Fifty-Three Stations.
HAMAJI: Better known as Kinryūsan Temple at Asakusa, from the series One Hundred Famous Views of Edo.
