Original vintage illustrated digest/booklet titled He Knew What He Wanted, published as A Mutrix Book and illustrated by ENEG, the pseudonym of noted illustrator Gene Bilbrew.
Bilbrew (1923–1974) produced extensive illustration work for Mutrix and related underground and fetish publications and is particularly associated with mid-20th-century gender, cross-dressing and fetish-themed illustration. Original Mutrix publications featuring his artwork have developed a specialized collector following.

The interior contains black-and-white illustrations by ENEG along with the text. The inside material also includes vintage advertising for other Mutrix/Wholesale Book Corporation publications.
Interestingly, one interior heading reads “TV — What He Really Wanted,” while the front cover title is He Knew What He Wanted. Both are original to this copy.
Condition
Good vintage condition overall.
The exterior shows noticeable age and handling wear including rubbing, edge and corner wear, light creasing and wear along the spine. An old $5.00 price sticker remains attached to the front cover.
The interior is substantially nicer than the exterior. Pages are clean, bright and crisp with very little discoloration, and the black-and-white illustrations remain sharp. Binding appears intact.
