A rare and early duck call. Made by William Harlow of Kinney Harlow fame. Harlow was the owner of a sporting goods store in Newark, Ohio, where he made calls beginning around 1918. He collaborated with C.L.V. Kinney to make the famous and rare leather covered duck head call. Harlow’s plain calls were known for their “fine sound” and being “very well made” as noted by Nash Buckingham. This call is in great shape. No cracks or dents. End of toneboard has light wear. Stamping is very clear. Toneboard and wedge have matching marks to assure alignment. Metal reed shows patina. Has a good sound.
