This is a HO BRASS NORTHWEST SHORT LINE, (N.W.S.L.) 2-6-2T LOGGING TANK LOCOMOTIVE. IT IS MISSING THE TRAILING TRUCK!There is no bulb in the headlight. Painted Matte Black. There is no original box or foam. The model is a replica of a 2-6-2T locomotive making it a unique and RARE addition to any model railroad collection. Made in Japan, this vintage piece captures the charm and nostalgia of steam locomotives from the past, (1920), perfect for transportation-themed layouts.Please see photos for condition. Tested and ran in forward and reverse. IT IS MISSING THE TRAILING TRUCK!It has been in storage for 13+ years (Please see below) and needs cleaning and lubrication. Sold as-is.
This train model comes from my father\'s train collection, (1950-2013), Please see video. My father\'s main profession was that of Dentist. However, his main passion and love for 63 years was his train collection. HO trains make up the bulk of his collection, but he loved anything and everything to do with trains. He spent much of his free time adapting his technical and artistic skills to his craft. He loved making things from scratch, and much of his collection is handmade and one of a kind. I inherited many boxes of locomotives, train cars, buildings, bridges, boxed kits, books and notebooks on trains, spare parts, materials and supplies. I sold about 1/8 of the collection about 12 years ago and am now once again making his collection available to those train enthusiasts that appreciate it. I personally am NOT a train expert in any way. I do my best to get a proper description of each item and do my best to properly package and protect each item for shipping including double boxing when necessary. I cover and pay for insurance above $100. About 13 years ago a model train expert gave me some basic guidance as to what was what. Locomotives are tested on a test track to see if they run forward and backward, but this is the extent of my knowledge on their condition. The train expert from 13 years ago told me the locomotives need cleaning and lubricating, which I don\'t know how to do. I cannot guarantee items are in good working condition or are not missing some parts. Please note that everything has been in storage for 13+ years. All items are presented and sold as/is to the extent of my knowledge on model trains and that knowledge is very limited. I will try to show condition of items with as many photos as possible.My father would be very happy to know that his collection is going to train lovers that appreciate it.
