Beautiful vintage L.L.Bean double-breasted fleece pea coat combining the traditional nautical peacoat silhouette with soft, practical cold-weather fleece.
The coat has a substantial blue polyester fleece shell with a structured notched collar and six tonal anchor-design buttons arranged in a classic double-breasted front. Curved vertical seams give the otherwise substantial coat some shape through the body.
Inside is a fully quilted black lining with Thinsulate insulation, giving this piece considerably more warmth than a basic fleece jacket without the bulk of a heavy wool coat.
The original L.L.Bean Freeport, Maine label is intact. The garment is tagged women’s Medium, style/code CQ46, and clearly marked Made in U.S.A. The shell is 100% polyester and the lining is 100% nylon, with the insulation quilted into the lining.
