This older lens onWollensak Regular Shutter appear to be in good cosmetic condition for it\'s age, the glass is clean and clear with no scratches, fungus or haze, only thing is theshutters weredisassembled when I tried to fix blades, but there\'s some parts broken and cannot be fixed(see last picture), as this is the case item sold as is for parts or repair only.
According the advertisement for this shutter,the Wollensak’s Regular is an iris diaphragm, high grade double pump shutter with Time, Bulb and three different speeds of instantaneous and automatic time exposures.Patent dates on the shutter are Feb.6, 1900 and July 23, 1901. The shutter is also marked Wollensak Optical Co. Rochester N.Y. U.S.A. Exposure times settings are 1, ½, 1/5, 1/25, 1/50, 1/100, B and T.Shutter diameter is 3.7” and the shutter mounting ring (not included) diameter is 63.5mm.Please check out the series of photo for detail cosmetics condition! you will be getting exactly what you see in those photos.
