The Guernsey 1 Pound banknote from 1991 is part of the 1990 - 2016 series. Its front design depicts a Market Square scene with shoppers and tented stalls in 1830, a quatrefoil as a registration device, and a Guernsey lily underprint pattern with olive branches flanking the seal of Bailiwick. On the reverse are the Royal Court building in St. Peter Port in 1840, a Guernsey lily underprint pattern, a Bailiffs hat, a portrait of Daniel de Lisle Brock, and the Brock Coat of Arms.
