The Grundfos UPMS 20-78 F is a high-efficiency ECM variable-speed circulator built for demanding hydronic and outdoor wood boiler systems. It is the same physical size class as a Taco 011 and delivers near-identical performance, allowing it to fit in the same location and handle the same work — while using significantly less electricity.
In a typical outdoor boiler installation, this pump is well suited for systems with up to approximately 500 feet of equivalent length, once underground piping, plate heat exchangers, elbows, valves, and other fittings are factored in. That makes it a strong choice for long runs feeding houses, shops, greenhouses, and multiple loads.
