Good to Very Good condition overall. Ten hardcover volumes containing twenty numbered bands from a larger series; this is a partial set, not the complete works. Several volumes have shaken bindings, but all remain sound. The books are unmarked. The half-leather bindings show rubbing, scuffing, and general shelf wear, with some fading and variation in the color of the leather spines. The volume containing Bands 5/6 has additional soiling, primarily along the fore edge. Apart from that volume, the books present in Good to Very Good condition. Please review the photographs for the individual volumes’ condition.
Bound in half leather with dark blue, stylized paper-covered boards, gilt-stamped spines, and decorative gilt devices to the front covers. Each physical volume contains two numbered bands. The ten volumes offered here comprise Bands 5/6, 7/8, 11/12, 15/16, 17/18, 21/22, 23/24, 25/26, 27/28, and 29/30. The contents include Goethe’s Italian Journey, autobiographical and historical writings, poetry, drama, prose, and works associated with Wilhelm Meister. Printed in German in Fraktur type.

Die Halblederbände besitzen dekorative blaue Einbände und goldgeprägte Buchrücken. Der Zustand ist insgesamt gut bis sehr gut. Einige Bindungen sind etwas gelockert, jedoch sind alle Bände stabil und ohne handschriftliche Eintragungen. Leichte Gebrauchsspuren und Abrieb sind vorhanden; Band 5/6 weist zusätzlich Verschmutzungen auf, vor allem am Vorderschnitt. Die Seiten sind überwiegend sauber und gut erhalten. Das Set enthält unter anderem Goethes Italienische Reise, autobiografische Schriften, Gedichte, Dramen und Werke aus dem Wilhelm-Meister-Zyklus.
