The GFB T9488 VTA blow-off valve is a direct-fit upgrade for a wide range of late-model Mercedes-Benz turbo petrol engines (and the MG5 1.5T), replacing the factory electronic diverter valve with a high-performance, atmosphere-venting solution. By combining the proven internal design of the GFB DV+ with a vent-to-atmosphere outlet and integrated solenoid, it delivers a crisp, audible blow-off sound while retaining full ECU control and everyday drivability.

Compared to the stock plastic diverter assembly, the T9488’s all-metal construction and pilot-actuated piston design offer superior boost sealing, improved throttle response, and more consistent performance at higher boost levels--especially on tuned AMG and 2.0T/1.3T platforms. Installation is fully bolt-on in the OEM diverter location using the supplied adaptor loom and hardware, with no additional pipes or fabrication required.
