The 45/400-gauge thicknessis 0.0.750 0+/-0.003 The width is 0.4740 +/-0.005. The 40/10MM thickness is 0.0650 +/-0.003 width is 0.4190 +/-0.005. We recommend using an extractor tension setting tool and if replacing your extractor using one for your caliber from EGW also we recommend checking your firing pin stop for a good fitting in the extractor slot, too much slop can cause your extractor to do what's called Clocking and cause feeding problem's. We also recommend use a trigger pull gauge to test the tension on the extractor hook. you would be looking for around 24 to 28 ounces of pull.
