Since the guitar and strings are new please expect to tune it 4-7 times the first time you play it as the strings will go out of tune as they and the wood stretch and set in. After this the guitar will begin holding tuning quite well and will only need slight adjustments each time you go to play it.The clip on tuner will require a CR2032 button battery and one is not included.If you find the strings to be too high off of the fretboard when the guitar arrives you can use the included allen wrench and make 1/4 turns clockwise until the strings become closer to the fretboard. It is recommended to detune the guitar when doing this and test after every few turns. If the strings begin to buzz you have went too far and will need to make some counterclockwise turns. The guitar should be playable out of the box but this typically will make it even more playable and easy to press the strings.
