Vintage 1930s approximately 8x10 black-and-white Paramount publicity photograph from a “Gay Nineties” costume party hosted by Paramount star Fredric March and his wife.
The original typed Paramount caption identifies the people pictured from left to right as Mr. and Mrs. B. P. Fineman and Mr. and Mrs. Percy Morgan. Mrs. Percy Morgan was actress Mayo Methot.
Fredric March is associated with the event as its host but is not pictured in this photograph.
The four guests are shown in elaborate period-style clothing including top hats, long coats, feathered hats and patterned costumes.
The reverse has a purple “PARAMOUNT PHOTO” studio stamp and the original typed publicity caption describing the party as being given by Fredric March and his wife for 100 guests.
