Nine images of this 82-year-old, very very generously-illustrated, first edition are shown below; it was published in France, and the text is in French. This book is: La France Paris et Les Provinces, by Roger Roumagnac and Pierre Andrieu, Published by Ode Paris, 1944 (this date appears at the bottom of the last page), first edition. The book measures 6 3/4\" x 5\" and is 462 pages and in Very Good condition with a slight lean to the spine and some gentle wear. There are well-over 300 illustrations, many of which have a charming, whimsical quality and the majority of which are in color. In addition, there are about 24, double-page, color maps (e.g., please see image #2 below). The illustrations vary in their size and shape; many are full-page, some are 1\" square, some are in-text, some are along the borders, etc. In addition, the endpapers are fully-decorated with line drawings, with different illustrations on the front- and rear-endpapers. Thes illustrations and maps are by Fircsa Beuville & Grau Sala De Sainte Croix Pilon. There is no former-owner\'s bookplate inside, no writing inside, no foxing, and there are no loose pages.
