Fenton lime custard uranium glass covered biscuit or cookie jar in the Grape and Cable pattern. Heavy pressed glass construction with raised grape clusters, leaves and vines throughout. Fenton mark is molded into the underside.
The uranium glass produces a strong bright green fluorescence under both 365nm and 395nm UV light, as shown in the photos. Weight is approximately 4.8 lbs.
Good pre-owned condition. There is a small chip on the inside rim of the lid, shown closely in the photos. There are also some minimal surface marks that may clean up with Bar Keepers Friend or similar glass cleaner. Please review all photos for condition. Measurements are in photos.
