The Connoisseur Collection was first established in 1983 with the idea to create unique items and treatments in glass that required special skills; items that would showcase Fenton glassmakers' and decorator's talents and they did not fail with the exquisite Vase.
Throughout the 1980's and 90's perhaps the most popular of Fenton's Special Series is the Connoisseur Collection. These pieces were always limited in number and were only offered inter catalogs throughout the latter part of the year. Many collectors eagerly anticipated the issue of each June Fenton Catalog Supplement, so they can add to their collection of Connoisseur pieces.
As you can see from the photos this is a breathtaking piece and any collector would be proud to add it in their collection.
