The radiant color is achieved by layering two colors of glass and controlling the thickness of each-quite a skill when working with molten glass. One of the most collectible colors in the antique market, Amberina was developed by Joseph Locke at the New England Glass Company in 1883.

This fine Amberina collectible by Fenton features hand painted seedpods tuckedunder ferns. Highlighted with 22K Gold accents, this unique design was created by RobinSpindler.

We are entering the 4th quarter and are downsizing our collection.We have no children that areinterested in keeping our collection.We have come to realize that we mustsellour \"Pride & Joy\" collection.

Acquiringour collectionconsumed a very large portion of our spare time for the last 50+ years.On all vacations, weekends Wetraveledtoall states searching forFentonexcept forNew England andDeepSouthernStates.We shopped in hundreds of AntiqueMalls searching for Fenton items missing from our collection. Once wecould no longer find items for our initial collection (Coin Dot & Hobnail) we started collecting other patterns including the newer items produced byFentonin the 80\'s through 2003.We retired from our jobs in 1996 and started selling on in 1997. Our business, after a couple of yearswas consuming almost all of our timecausing our collection searching to slowly wind down and almost totally stoppedin 2003. Our collecting years were a blast and provided us with untold joys and satisfaction.We still love Fenton and miss our previouscollecting lifestyle. Every piece that we sell has a storythat triggers many happymemories.

We are currently selling allboxed up items that are not on Display in our Home at this time. We have over 100 large boxes in storage to sell before we get into our currently displayed items.We made a pact that we would not hold back on any item that we take out of a storage but rather list them as we unpack them.
