This beautiful set of four hand-colored copper engravings comes from the landmark work A Natural History of Birds by Eleazar Albin, published in London starting in 1731. This historic publication was the very first British bird book illustrated with colored plates (which artists colored individually)
Print Size is 10\" x 8\", Framed size is 16 inch by 14 inch with well selected matting and framing.
