This is sealed and has lubricant on the rubber. This NEW and genuine part from Fluval with alternate packaging because it was from an open and unused Filter box. It is themotor Seal Ring which works for these Fluval canister filter models:

NO WORRIES! Both models 307 and 407 which are the new Fluval Series Filters uses the same part as the others, they just call it A20064.
