About the Artist
Fabian Perez was born on November 2, 1967, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. As a teenager, he was deeply interested in both martial arts and fine arts. He committed himself to studying both disciplines. Karate helped shape his character, giving him discipline and also introducing him to other artistic influences. Many of the lessons he learned through Eastern philosophy later found their way into his painting style.
At 22, Fabian left Argentina and moved to Italy, where he lived for seven years. His time there marked the beginning of a significant artistic and literary journey. While in Italy, he was inspired to write his book Reflections of a Dream, which was later published in the United States. He then moved to Japan, where he lived for a year and painted The Japanese Flag and A Meditating Man. Both works are now displayed in a government building. After his time in Japan, Fabian settled in Los Angeles, where he continues to focus on inspiring others through his art and writing.
Fabian's style is uniquely his own. He prefers not to place labels on his work, as he believes categorization restricts both the artist and the artwork. He chooses to work with acrylic paint because it dries quickly, allowing him to follow his impulses without delay. His imagery is bold, symbolic, and emotionally charged. He paints from instinct and emotion, and each piece reflects his energy and passion. His paintings offer a visual journey, where the viewer chooses their own direction and experience.
Over his career, his emotionally charged acrylic paintings have earned him significant international accolades. Notable milestones include
2009: Named the official artist of the 10th annual Latin Grammy Awards.
• 2010: Served as the Official Artist for the Vancouver Winter Olympics.
• 2011: Designed the Copa América soccer tournament trophy and collaborated with the Leo Messi Foundation to create a portrait of Lionel Messi.
• 2017: Awarded Art Tour

Master Inspiration Award.
Perez is known for painting the souls of his subjects and has created portraits for famous figures like Al Pacino, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Pope Francis.
