Exquisite Antique Japanese Shakudo Silver & Gold Damascene Bracelet - Meiji era For Sale

We carry an extensive selection of Asian antiques and fine jewelry at our gallery store in California and we’re pleased to offer this superb Shakudo bracelet. Each exquisite panel is an understated work of art. Fashioned of silver and gold this high relief Japanese damascene was handcrafted by master metal workers who previously made sword fittings prior to the Meiji Restoration. Each linked panel exhibits its own measurements, but the bracelet measures just under one and a half inches at its greatest width and approximately 7 inches in length. Weight - 95 grams.

In between each dark matte background panel of mixed metals are jump ring connections with a push clap disguised within the final link. Stamped underneath is the mark “Silver”. A safety chain provides additional security when worn. The jewelry is an excellent well-maintained condition and would be a wonderful addition to any collection
